DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation have announced that Justice League: Doom will be the next entry in the DC Universe Animated original movies following Batman: Year One. The movie will be based on the DC storyline JLA: Tower of Babel, in which Ra’s al Ghul steals the contingency plans that Batman had prepared in the event that any member of the Justice League went rogue.

In addition to the announcement of the film, the voice cast has also been revealed. Long-time DC Animated fans will be happy to know that Kevin Conroy will reprise his iconic role as Batman and Tim Daly will reprise his role as Superman. Nathan Fillion, who voiced Hal Jordan in Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, will once again lend his voice to the character. Other Justice League alumni voice actors will also return as Michael Rosenbaum will again voice The Flash, Carl Lumbly will voice Martian Manhunter, and Susan Eisenberg returns as the voice of Wonder Woman. Cyborg, a character that didn’t appear in the Justice League cartoon series, will be voiced by veteran voice actor Bumper Robinson.

Bruce Timm once again takes the reigns as executive producer with long-time partner Lauren Montgomery as director. The script was written by acclaimed animation/comic book writer Dwayne McDuffie, who passed away earlier this year.
