Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the team behind 21 Jump Street and The Lego Movie, are rebooting a classic series for a return to television… The Greatest American Hero. The show is being developed for FOX as an hour-long series.
Based on the TV series which ran from 1980 to 1983, The Greatest American Hero follows a teacher who becomes a reluctant superhero after extraterrestrials give him a special suit with powers he can barely understand or control when he loses its instruction manual.
