  • I had to restart this episode and come to the show notes because it was too good!

    I wanted to point out that Hermes is also associated with Mercury (the planet), but Mercury is also a key element in alchemy. I found this from the Royal Society of Chemistry during a web search, “Alchemists were convinced that Mercury transcended both the solid and liquid states, both earth and heaven, both life and death. Mercury is one of the seven metals of alchemy (gold, silver, Mercury, copper, lead, iron & tin).”

    I also noticed that the “dark” hemispheres of the earth in Exhibit B look like the black dome that occurs during the apocalypses.
