The ensemble cast includes Steve Martin, Jack Black, Owen Wilson, Rashida Jones, Angelica Huston, Jim Parsons, Rosamund Pike, JoBeth Williams, Brian Dennehy, Dianne Wiest, Anthony Anderson, Tim Blake Nelson, Kevin Pollak and Joel McHale and adapts Mark Obmascik’s 1998 book “The Big Year: A Tale of Man, Nature and Fowl Obsession.”
The film tells the story of three men who try to outdo each other in a bird-watching competition to spot the rarest birds in North America.
