Stay (2005)
It is mentioned in this episode that Noah’s original name is Hanno Tauber, and that “Taube” is the German word for “dove” and how this connects to the biblical story of Noah and the dove. –
Strictly speaking, the word “Tauber” refers to a MALE dove ( see https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tauber_(Begriffskl%C3%A4rung ).
A female dove is a “Taube”. But the German word “Taube” has a double meaning: it also refers to „a (female) mute person”.
Tauber – Taube – Noah – Elisabeth – two doves.
Correction (sorry): the German word “Taube” refers to a (female) DEAF person, i.e Elisabeth.
